Each vertical centrifuge is designed and built in a user-friendly manner to enable easy loading and extraction and our result oriented controls and intensive washing of solids assures effective solid-liquid.

General Features

In this type of centrifuge, the solid-liquid separation is done through a scraper that cuts the solid cake while the basket is rotating at a slow speed. The solids are then discharged through openings provided in the basket bottom and bottom base/inertia plate.

Feeding – Feeding is carried out while the basket is rotating at an appropriate speed. After the required cake is built, the feeding is stopped. The centrifuge continues to run for some time to partially dewater the solids.

Washing – After feeding, washing is carried out by pumping wash liquid through the wash pipe.

Spinning – The spinning of the basket ensures proper completion of the dewatering process.

Scraping – The speed of the basket is reduced to the scraping speed.

Bottom Discharge Centrifuge

Manual Top Discharge Centrifuge

The Manual Top Discharge Centrifuge is one of the most commonly used vertical centrifuges in the industry. Its mechanisms are fairly basic where the solid material is scooped out manually from the top of the centrifuge.

Bag Lifting Type Centrifuge

The Bag Lifting Type Centrifuge is a more advanced version of the basic Manual Top Discharge Centrifuge. The machine has a dynamically balanced rotating basket with a taper shell for the easy removal of filter bags with solid material. Certain moving parts of this centrifuge provided in stainless steel or in Hastelloy increase the life of the rubber-lined baskets. Hydraulic or pneumatic arrangement can provide for lid opening.
